Nepal’s First Laptop Company, Rippletech Launched Ripple Nova with 12th Gen Intel Processor

Ripple has recently made an announcement post on their Facebook page giving some hints on their first Laptop with the 12th Gen Processor in Nepal. They have also stated on the post that they will launch this laptop on 15th Feb 2022. This post has pumped up a lot of people in Nepal who are waiting for the Intel 12th Gen Laptops. In this article, we will be looking at the expected components that might be used in Ripple’s upcoming Laptop.

Ripple Nova Pro Overview

Design

Design-wise, the Ripple Nova Pro is very similar to the less expensive Ripple Nova. The laptop is made of aluminium except for the bottom, which is plastic.

The given ports are also the same as the Nova. It has two USB-A 3.1 Gen 1 ports, a USB-A 2.0 port, a USB Type-C 3.1 Gen 2 port, an HDMI 2.1 port, an SD card reader slot, an audio out port, a mic-in port, and an RJ45 port.

Display

It features a 15.6-inch IPS LCD display with a refresh rate of up to 165Hz. It features a QHD panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.

Additionally, it covers 100% sRGB colour gamut. The bezels are identical to those on the Nova, with minimal side and top bezels.

Hardware

Powering the Ripple Nova Pro is the Intel Core i7-12700H processor. It has 6 performance cores, 8 efficiency cores, and 20 threads.

For the graphical work, it is equipped with Nvidia RTX 3060 GPU with a TGP of 140W. The laptop comes with 8GB DDR5 4800MHz RAM and has two SO-DIMM slots. Moreover, it has two M.2 slots for SSDs.

Intel 12th Gen CPUs

Ripple will have two variants in the Nova Series, the regular Nova with Intel i5 12500H and Nvidia 3050Ti GPU and the next one will be Nova Pro with i7 12700H CPU and much powerful Nvidia 3060 OC Max- P GPU. Nova Pro comes with support for the latest DDR5 RAM while the affordable Nova offers DDR4 RAM.

Battery and Others

The laptop is fueled by a 63Wh battery and it comes with a 180W adaptor.

Furthermore, it has two 2W speakers, an HD webcam, and an IR webcam.
