Kathmandu. Pathao Rider has been abducted in Lalitpur last night. The 21-year-old Pathao rider, who was on his way to Dhapakhel from Koteshwor, Kathmandu, was abducted by a passenger at around 11 pm on Sunday.

Suman Tamang, a Pulsar motorcyclist with registration number 02-01-001P 1166, had gone from Koteshwor to Dhapakhel at the request of 25-year-old Praveen Rai, a resident of Kathmandu.

But instead of paying the fare, Praveen Rai, a passenger along with Minraj Rai, who was waiting at the same place, beat up Pathao rider Tamang. The rider's hands were tied behind his back and his legs were bandaged, and he was thrown into a secluded bush at the bottom of the road.

After that, they looted the rider's motorcycle, blue book, Samsung A50 mobile and property and fled. The locals had informed the police after finding the rider tied up and thrown away.

On the basis of the information, a team from the Metropolitan Police Circle Satdobato, Deputy Superintendent of Police and a team from the Metropolitan Police Complex conducted a thorough investigation into the matter.

In the process, the two were arrested along with the looted goods near Chandragiri Recondition Sorum in Balambu of Kathmandu district, informed Superintendent of Police, Lalitpur Police Complex, Siddhi Bikram Shah. Necessary investigation is underway on both the arrested persons.
